Herculean Herpes near Hershey, PA

Well, at least in the same state…

Three dudes on the York College of Pennsylvania wrestling team are suing their school and coaches for knowingly allowing herpetic wrestlers to engage in full contact practices.

As we all know, wrestling is like hetero male-on-male sex so, unsurprisingly, the three plaintiffs contracted the disease.

No affirmative defenses yet claiming that the three contracted herpes during a team circle jerk or gang bang… yet.

Louisiana police nab alleged peeping tom

Authorities last week arrested an alleged peeping Tom from Crawford who fled the state while awaiting trial on charges he spied on women in public restrooms in Athens.

Gresham began his alleged peeping not long after he was paroled in February 2006 from Rivers State Prison, where he served more than seven years for convictions on cocaine trafficking and other charges in Oglethorpe County.

He looked at women in restroom stalls at T.J. Maxx on Alps Road and in Georgia Square Mall, police said.

Gresham skipped town last summer, after court officials set a trial date.

Athens-Clarke police placed Gresham on their most wanted list because they feared he might commit more serious crimes in the future.

No delay for ‘Dancing’ star in federal trial

He won ‘Dancing with the Stars’ in 2007, but even that wasn’t enough to convince a federal judge in Miami that he should delay the race car driver’s tax evasion trial.  He had asked that the proceedings be delayed until at least November, so he could complete the Indycar season.

Castroneves is accused of stashing millions in offshore accounts.  Let’s see him try to rhumba his way out of that one.  (Sorry.  I almost made it.  Just couldn’t help myself.)

Could murdering 8 year old kick off a trend?

We’ve all heard the story about the boy who killed his father and another man.  But did you ever think it could become a trend?

On Friday in Broward County, FL, a 3rd grader was caught at school with a loaded gun!

From the Herald:

The 8-year-old boy showed the loaded weapon in class to a classmate at about 10:45 Friday morning, Fort Lauderdale police said.

His friend told a teacher and the teacher and school administrators notified police, who went to the school at 1001 NW Fourth St.

The incident comes just two days after a Dillard High School sophomore was shot and killed at school.

Fort Lauderdale police have the weapon and the student could face charges for bringing a weapon onto school property, Fort Lauderdale police Sgt. Frank Sousa said. Whoever owns the gun could face separate charges.

Florida’s teacher sex crime epidemic

The Orlando Sentinel has found that more than 150 teachers in Florida schools have been disciplined in the past three years for misconduct of a sexual nature.

Among those cases are a former Apopka High teacher accused of flashing a teenage student with whom she was having an affair; a Port Orange teacher who sent text messages to a boy, calling him “cutie” and “sexie”; a ninth-grade teacher in Tampa who asked a student about the color of her nipples; and an Orlando coach accused of using e-mail and instant messages to tell a 13-year-old girl he loved her and wanted their relationship to grow beyond friendship.

Murderer gives victim’s family the bird

How did Tai Pham respond to being sentenced to death in the brutal murder of his estranged wife Amy in Seminole County, FL?

By flipping off her family multiple times, even standing up to make sure they had a good view after his lawyer attempted to block him.

Pham was convicted of the 2005 murder, in which he tied up his 15 year old daughter and forced her to watch as he killed her mother.

More from the race crime files…

I have a basic aversion to the concept of “hate crimes.”  If you assault someone, or you kill them or you deface their property, you’re committing a crime.  That we up the penalty because of the content of your speech, or your supposed “motivations” doesn’t sit well with me.

However, as I said a few days ago, I find the rise in racially motivated attacks post-Obama victory to be an important trend.

The latest entry in that category:

Two white 18 year old men have been charged in the beating of a black teen on election night.  The men, wearing hooded sweatshirts, allegedly jumped out of a vehicle on a Staten Island street and beat 17 year old Allie Kamara with baseball bats while he was walking home from an election night party.  The victim said they were joined by two other attackers.  Accordin to Kamara, the only thing they said before they commenced with the attack was “Obama!”

What’s interesting about this trend is not only that the number of racially motivated crimes has increased, but where they’ve increased.  Here at Krimebeat, we’ve noticed a marked increase in NY and California.  It will be interesting to see how this develops as we move towards innauguration day.

Here comes the crime…

You know the old adage that tough times breed more crime?  Well it looks like we’re there already.

In Michigan, a guy just held up a payday loan shop with a gun and an apology.

“I’m sorry, but times are tough,” the robber said.  No one was hurt and the two employees said the criminal appeared, “apologetic.”

Brace yourselves… this is only the beginning.
